Previously Recorded
Suzana Sjenicic, LMHC
$59.99 USD

This webinar is live only and will not be recorded.

The class will focus on strategies and approaches that promote deeper understanding and simpler approaches to anxiety treatment. Combined approaches, and helpful tools that will enable clinicians to tailor them to their respective clients, will be discussed. Innovative communication strategies between clinician and client that support psycho-education, understanding of anxiety and panic disorder, and helpful coping tools, will be provided. Resistance in clients, as well as ways in which anxiety serves them, and skills to address them, will be explored.

In addition, the class will address the positive aspects of anxiety and panic attacks, and how they could be the catalyst for emotional processing if supported adequately in treatment. Mind and body connection, history of anxiety, effects of unprocessed emotions, trauma and dissatisfaction with current life, will all be explored as roots and possible causes, and healthy coping tools will be offered.
