The Therapeutic Alliance: Building Trust with Clients and Families

This course educates participants on the value of the therapeutic alliance in both individual and family work, while teaching effective communication skills to foster trust and rapport with clients and their families. Participants will learn techniques to engage family systems in therapy to improve treatment outcomes and gain tools to navigate challenging dynamics and build collaborative therapeutic relationships.

(Trainer - Elizabeth "Liz" Bullard, LPC, is the founder of Ebullard Counseling Inc. She specializes in a collaborative, strengths- based approach that builds strong therapeutic connections with clients, participants, and communities.)

Identifying & Addressing Implicit Bias: A Workshop

Designed for professionals who acknowledge the negative impacts of bias on professional practice and are ready to take action, this workshop will explore tools to help professionals identify issues and make a change.

(Trainer - Kathryn Krase, Ph.D., J.D., M.S.W., Principal Consultant with Krase Consultant, is an expert on the professional ethics, and the intersection of ethics with legal responsibilities. She has years of experience consulting with government and community based organizations to develop policy & practice standards.)
